Tazorac cream is also known as Tazarotene Cream and used to treat psoriasis or acne. Tazarotene is known to help reduce fine facial wrinkles and dark spots on the face. It is a retinoid product and works by affecting the growth of skin cells.
Tazorac cream (or Tazarotene Cream) is a vitamin A compound that works similarly to Tretinoin Retin-A. By removing dead skin cells and increasing collagen production, it aids the skin in renewing itself quickly. It also improves the skin’s appearance, tone, and texture. Tazorac cream reduces wrinkles, pigmentation, photodamage, and skin age/sunspots. It also plumps out the skin, giving you a younger, brighter, and more rejuvenated appearance. The product is FDA approved.
Tazorac cream is prescribed for the treatment of acne vulgaris in adults and adolescents aged 12 and up. Psoriasis (raised, silvery flaking of the skin) in adults is also treated with it.
Tazorac contains tazarotene, while Retin-A contains tretinoin. Both are retinoid family members derived from vitamin A.

Directions
Due to the increased skin cell turnover, this should be the last product you use after your nighttime routine. Also, be more diligent in protecting your skin from harmful uva UVB rays and sun damage. Tretinoin Usage Guide for beginners:
Step 1: Start Low
- Begin with the 0.025% concentration, especially if you've never used Tretinoin or Retin-A before.
Step 2: Apply at Night
- Use Tretinoin as the final step in your nighttime routine.
- Apply a pea-sized amount to your face, avoiding:
- Corners of the nose
- Mouth
- Lips (as these areas are more sensitive).
Step 3: Protect Against Sun
- Tretinoin increases sun sensitivity. Always:
- Use a broad-spectrum SPF50 sunscreen during the day.
- Avoid prolonged sun exposure.
Step 4: Moisturize
- Combat dryness by:
- Using a hydrating moisturizer after Tretinoin or as part of your daytime routine.

I purchased Taz for the first time from Tretinioin World and really have seen such an improvement over a short period of time! I am looking forward to seeing the results after long-term use! So, far I have seen mild peeling and acne, redness and inflammation has significantly reduced, I apply at night allowing it to settle and dry and then after about 20 minutes I dampen my face lightly and apply a hyaluronic acid serum then seal this in with a light moisturiser/barrier cream. My skin looks so clear and healthy!

I was on the highest strength of Retin A, after two decades I wondered if I hit the plateau with tretinoin. I became aware Tazorac was an option. After less than a month, my skin actually improved! For me, the consistency/application was ideal (here’s a hack, apply the cream using a latex glove on your finger – SO easy to tap onto the skin with optimum distribution. And no excess gets absorbed on to a bare finger). I still get sloughing cycles from time to time, but very manageable with the Tazorac. Forgot to say – the ordering/delivery from Tretify is first class.
