Tretinoin 0.1 Cream is a medicine that is used to treat cystic acne. It is also known as all-trans retinoic acid (a vitamin A derivative). It unclogs congested follicles and keeps the skin pores clear. It eliminates dead skin cells by promoting cell turnover and collagen formation, resulting in skin that appears younger and brighter. Apply a small layer of the cream or gel to your entire face, avoiding the corners of your nose, mouth, and lips, which have thinner skin.
Because Retin-A tretinoin makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight, it is strongly recommended that you use SPF50 and avoid sun exposure as much as possible. It is also recommended that you use a deeply hydrating moisturising cream in addition to your SPF50 because Retin-A Tretinoin can have a drying effect on your skin when you first start using it. All good so far, only used this cream for like a week so far, I use it at bedtime, started off with moisturiser first before applying and my skin felt OK with it so then applied it with no moisturiser and this also felt OK and I’m continuing to use it every other day, a little goes a long way as can look oily on the skin which is why it’s best to use at bedtime, time will tell if it helps…patience young grasshoppa !!🤪
